- 2002-2005: Part-time freelance writing and communications services
- 1991-2005: Reporter at the Maple Ridge-Pitt Meadows News, a twice-weekly community newspaper. Duties include finding and developing story ideas, hard news beats, feature writing, page layout, serving as section editor, some acting editor duties.
Education- 1991: Graduated from highly regarded two-year journalism diploma program at Langara College - Vancouver, B.C.
